Hopkinsville native Chris Crutchfield has landed a college basketball head coaching position. Crutchfield is leaving the University of Arkansas after one season as associate head coach to become the new head coach of East Central University, a Division Two school in Ada, OK. Crutchfield-a long time coaching veteran-spent the last three seasons prior to coming to Arkansas as associate head coach at the University of Oklahoma. He also worked as a head coach at Tyler Junior College in Texas from 1999-2001.
