Griffin’s Studio announces closure of storefront

Griffin’s Studio on Sixth Street in Hopkinsville announced Tuesday that they’re closing their storefront, but will continue operating in other ways.

In a post on social media, owner Griffin Moore says she had already made plans to close the storefront in 2021, but the pandemic sped that process along. She says part of the decision is to allow her more time to spend with her children.

Moore says she has three goals moving forward: to operate as a pop-up art studio, to provide art-to-go packages for birthdays and other group gatherings, and to create commissioned artworks and designs that have personal meaning and significance.

Moore thanks her customers for their patronage and says the plan is to complete the transition away from the store front by the end of the summer.
