ESPN reports some Major League Baseball owners are content to cancel the 2020 season should players not agree to additional pay cuts. The owners last week offered players an 82 game schedule to go along with sliding scale pay reductions. Players have offered a counter proposal wanting to play 114 games with no pay cuts and have the option to not play due to Covid-19 concerns.
