A high speed pursuit of a motorcycle by the Christian County Sheriff’s Office Thursday evening ended with an arrest.
Deputy Scott Noisworthy observed a motorcycle operated by 53-year old Jeffrey Bartholomew of Hopkinsville traveling 104 mph on the Eagle Way Bypass a few minutes after 5 p.m. near Davenport Lane.
An arrest citation says Bartholomew failed to stop for police and headed north on Madisonville Road before turning around and heading back toward Hopkinsville.
He swerved into the path of a deputy’s cruiser before eventually stopping in the 10000 block of Madisonville Road.
Bartholomew was arrested and charged with fleeing or evading police, speeding and reckless driving.
