Former University of Kentucky standout Chip McDaniel holed out from just short of the bunker on the 18th to birdie the final hole and clinch the Unbridled Tour title and $10,000 first-place prize at Boone Trace in Richmond Thursday. McDaniel finished at -19 for the three-day tournament. Glasgow native Kent Bulle tied for fifth at 12 under par.
Current University of Kentucky golfer Jacob Cook finished at -12 and earned low amateur for the week. Bowling Green’s Canon Claycomb finished at 11 under.
