One of the children struck by a vehicle Friday afternoon in Oak Grove has died from her injuries.
Kentucky State Police say the two girls—11 and five-years old—were attempting to cross Pembroke-Oak Grove Road in the area of the 115 One Stop Market when they stepped into the path of a pickup pulling a trailer operated by 63-year old Wanda Sydnor of Russellville.
Both girls were transported to Blanchfield Army Community Hospital, where the five-year old was pronounced deceased.
Family and friends identified the victim as five-year old MarQuana McClure and a GoFundMe page has been set up to help her parents with funeral expenses.
The 11-year old girl was treated for injuries to her legs.
