Bruce Center to reopen Monday with restrictions

The James E. Bruce Convention Center will be able to reopen Monday under the governor’s healthy at work guidelines.

A news release says with typical gross occupancy allowance of 1,550, the Bruce Center will be allowed to accommodate events up to 500 people. Full meal service will be available for all events.

Board Chair Darrell Gustafson says, “Our goal is to return to work, with the emphasis of safety and social distancing as required under present guidelines, while still providing our clients and guests with the outstanding service they’ve come to expect.”
