Christian County High School bid farewell and good luck to the graduates of 2020, with a virtual graduation ceremony airing Friday evening.
The ceremony saw 304 graduates walk across the stage and receive their diploma, and due to editing the service flowed much like it would in a typical year. Commencement speaker former CCHS Assistant Football Coach Durrell Keith spoke highly of the class of 2020, urging that as they go forward, remember to always improve and don’t let failures slow them down.
He says that each and every graduate is truly, in his eyes and those of many, awesome.
The Valedictorian for the class of 2020 is Hannah Sumner, with the Salutatorian Hutchison Williams. Many students were recognized, including Gateway Academy students, Beta Club members, honor graduates, Governor’s scholars and members of the National Honor Society.
