Two people were taken to a Nashville hospital following a single-vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon in Logan County.
The Logan County Sheriff’s Department investigated and determined 65-year old Benjamin Maynard of Springfield, Tennessee had been traveling in the 9000 block of Nashville Road when for unknown reasons his pickup went off the right side of the road. It struck an embankment and overturned onto the driver’s side.
Maynard and his passenger, 64-year old Sandra Roach of Springfield, were both extricated and transported by EMS to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.
