Kentucky State Police is looking to hire experienced emergency dispatchers for its post in Madisonville.
The Kentucky State Police Post 2 is currently seeking applicants for the position of Police Telecommunicator II. Post 2 covers Caldwell, Christian, Crittenden, Hopkins, Muhlenberg, Todd, and Webster Counties.
Successful applicatns will have excellent communication skills; the ability to handle extremely stressful and challenging conditions; the ability to handle flexible work schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays; and the ability to learn and adapt, especially in areas of technology.
Three years of experience as a dispatcher is also required, though two of those years can be met through college coursework.
Applicants must be a certified telecommunicator in Kentucky to apply.
