An Oak Grove man was injured in a wreck in Hopkinsville Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Hopkinsville Police Department collision report, a vehicle driven by 45-year old Michael Howard of Madisonville was heading west on Pembroke Road and was reportedly speaking to his sons while approaching the intersection. He reportedly told police that when he looked up, the light was red and he was continuing into the intersection of Pembroke Road and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Way.
A vehicle driven by 39-year old DeMarrio Green of Oak Grove had been stopped at the light and then continued through when the light turned green, which is when the two vehicles collided.
Green was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of what are believed to be minor injuries. Everyone involved was wearing a seat belt.
