Opening round play at the Unbridled Tour event began yesterday at Boone Trace Golf Club in Richmond. Former UK golfer Chip McDaniel shot an opening round 64 to share the lead with Dylan Meyer of Evansville, IN. in the three-day tournament. Former NKU golfer Jacob Poore is one back at -7 while former UK star Cooper Musselman is two off the lead at -6 with Glasgow native Kent Bulle three back at -5. Kentucky junior golfer Jacob Cook was the event’s low amateur at -5. Bowling Green’s Canon Claycomb is at -2. Round two is scheduled for today.
