The Kentucky Horse Racing Commission today approved Keeneland Race Course in Lexington’s request for racing in July. The five day summer meet will take place July 8-12 and will feature both the Ashland Stakes and Blue Grass Stakes to be contested on July 11th. Those races are normally part of Keeneland’s spring meet, canceled this year due to the pandemic. It was also noted Keeneland’s meet will take place without spectators.
