The Christian County Health Department is reporting no new confirmed cases of COVID-19 locally.
That’s according to the Wednesday update, which puts the overall total since the pandemic began at 112 cases. Of those cases, 14 are considered ‘active’ and 95 people have recovered from the illness. Breaking those down into age groups, there are five cases in the pediatric age group, eight in the young adult to middle aged group, only one in the older adult category and zero in the elderly age group.
Christian County remains at three COVID-19 related deaths. The health department urges people to keep up those social distancing practice, along with thorough and frequent hand washing, and that if anyone wants to get tested, they can at the Tie Breaker Park testing site.
