One hurt in Eagle Way intersection collision

The Hopkinsville Police Department is investigating a collision on the Eagle Way Bypass that sent a Hopkinsville man to the hospital Monday.

According to the collision report, the wreck occurred in the intersection of the Eagle Way Bypass and Coxmill Road around 6:15 p.m. A vehicle operated by 21-year old Nathaniel Kaminski of Hopkinsville was reportedly making a left turn onto Eagle Way at the same moment a vehicle driven by 20-year old Brandon Daniel of Elkton was traveling straight through the intersection.

Daniel told officers that he had a green light at the time of the wreck.  A passenger in his vehicle, 23-year old Christopher Buckner of Hopkinsville, reported hit his head on the windshield and was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for his injuries.

Neither Kaminski nor Daniel were hurt in the collision.
