The FBS conferences released a statement today indicating an extension has been agreed to by all conferences and television networks for determining early season games. The deadline was June 1st, but has changed due to the pandemic. The kickoff times and networks will be announced at a later date.
Meanwhile, Footballscoop.com reports some Sun Belt Conference schools are talking about busing teams to games this season rather than fly to them if they are in close enough proximity. Also, Conference USA commissioner Judy McLeod says if the pandemic gets crazy again, her league may explore playing teams in other conferences close to their footprint.
