In a match to raise money for charity, the duo of Tiger Woods and Peyton Manning held off a late charge from Phil Mickelson and Tom Brady to win by one hole. The Champions for Charity event was held yesterday at the Medalist Golf Club, pairing two legendary NFL quarterbacks with two of the best golfers of the last 30-years to raise money for COVID-19 relief.

Woods and Manning grabbed an early three-hole lead before Mickelson and Brady stormed back to send it to the 18th with a chance to tie before Woods’ putt sealed the win. The event raised an estimated 20-million-dollars to benefit those affected by the pandemic.
