The Hopkinsville Police Department has charged two men with trafficking in methamphetamine following an incident on South Virginia Street Friday.
According to the police report, officers responded to a South Virginia residence to serve an arrest warrant against 38-year old Ty Mayton of Hopkinsville. A search warrant was obtained for the home, which allegedly revealed approximately two grams of meth and several items of drug paraphernalia related to the trafficking of drugs.
Mayton was arrested, along with 39-year old James Ferrell of Crofton, and both were charged with trafficking in meth. A third individual in the home, 61-year old Samual Ludbock, was charged with possession of handgun by a convicted felon.
