Predators would make playoffs in NHL’s 24 team proposed return to play

The NHLPA Executive Board of 31 player reps are voting on the league 24-team return-to-play proposal, The Athletic reports. The voting should be completed by tomorrow night. Meanwhile, TSN reports the top 12 teams from each conference will play in an expanded playoffs. If this scenario is approved, the Nashville Predators would be in the NHL playoffs. The league and players union still must negotiate other details, including health and safety guidelines, before games are played
