The Clarksville Police Department has arrested and charged a suspect in connection with the shooting that occurred on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard Thursday.
According to a news release, police have charged 25-year old Darice Dawayne Harris with aggravated assault and reckless endangerment in relation to a physical altercation that turned into a shots fired called in the 2700 block of Wilma Rudolph. A victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound, and the severity of their injuries is unknown.
Harris also reportedly was injured in the incident. He was lodged in the Montgomery County Jail on a $125,000 bond.
