Atmos Energy is offering financial aid to help balance past due balances in the face of the coronavirus pandemic with payment option plans and assistance.
According to a news release, the company continues to offer payment installment plans that spread out payments of the total balance over time and during this time, there are no added charges or fees. Additional federal assistance funds have been released due to COVID-19 through the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program in addition to Atmos Energy’s Sharing the Warmth funds. Sharing the Warmth is a program that leverages the generosity of customer donations with additional contributions by Atmos Energy.
Financial assistance is available to eligible residential customers. Customers needing solutions to keep up with their monthly natural gas expenses are encouraged to contact Atmos Energy’s customer service team at 888-286-6700.
