A lane restriction on U.S. 41 in Hopkins County began Wednesday morning and will go through Thursday to allow for road work.
That’s according to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, which says the lane restriction will be in the approximate area of the 2 mile marker and will last each day from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. The work is to allow for the replacement of CSX rail timbers.
Motorists traveling through this area should reduce their speed, anticipate stop and go traffic and pay attention to flaggers who will be close the roadway.
