Clarksville man charged with fourth DUI, wanton endangerment in pursuit

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Kentucky State Police have charged a Clarksville man with wanton endangerment, trafficking in methamphetamine and felony DUI following a pursuit that ended in Trigg County Tuesday.

According to a news release, around 6:30 p.m. Trooper Hunter Carroll joined in on a pursuit with the Hopkinsville Police Department for a vehicle that had fled from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department when they had attempted a traffic stop.  The pursuit continued on the Pennyrile Parkway and then onto I-24, where a Cadiz Police officer successfully deployed a tire deflation device.

The pursuit came to a stop around the 58-mile marker and 32-year old Daniel Mosley of Clarksville was taken into custody.  He was lodged in the Christian County Jail and charged with fourth-offense DUI, which is a felony, driving on DUI suspended license, trafficking in meth, first-degree wanton endangerment, fleeing or evading police, receiving stolen property and several traffic violations.
