MLB issues safety protocols for return from pandemic

Major League Baseball is planning to conduct up to ten-thousand COVID-19 tests per week if players agree to play. The League submitted its safety protocols for a half season that would begin in July. Teams have the option of practicing for the season either at their home parks or at their spring facilities in Arizona and Florida. There will be no high-fives, no fist bumps, no spitting, no sunflower seeds, and no chewing tobacco allowed. Players will sit in the stands during games and stay six feet away from one another in the dugouts and there will be no showers at the ballparks.
