The Hopkinsville Police Department is investigating after a teenager was shot multiple times Sunday afternoon near Evergreen Park Drive.
According to the police report, a 15-year old victim went to the Jennie Stuart Medical Center emergency room Sunday and said he had been shot with a BB gun. A doctor later determined that the victim was shot with what was believed to be a 22 caliber gun.
No arrests have been made in the incident, which is being investigated as first-degree assault, and the extent of the teen’s injuries are unknown.
