Christian Co. gains two new confirmed cases of COVID-19, 86 recovered

The Christian County Health Department is reporting two additional confirmed cases of COVID-19, bringing the total in Christian County up to 99.

That’s according to the health department update, with total of cases rising from 97 to 99 from Friday to Monday. The number of recovered individuals has risen also to 86, leaving 10 ‘active’ cases. Christian County has seen three COVID-19 related deaths.

With the active cases broken down into age groups, there is one in the pediatric age group, eight in the young adult to middle aged group, one in the older adult category and none in the elderly age group.

The health department continues to offer free testing Monday through Friday at Tie Breaker Park from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. and on Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. until 11.
