A Hopkinsville man was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center Thursday for treatment of injuries sustained in a single-vehicle collision.
According to the Hopkinsville police report, the crash occurred on Mohawk Trail around 2 p.m. when 60-year old James Hairfield of Hopkinsville was testing driving a vehicle when he became dizzy. He lost control of the vehicle and struck a tree, causing severe damage to the automobile.
Hairfield was taken to Jennie Stuart for injuries to his eye and wrist.
