NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman says canceling the rest of the 2019-20 season is not something he is contemplating. During a virtual town hall this week, Bettman said shutting down the season and not handing out a Stanley Cup is too easy a solution to the current crisis. Bettman said under the right circumstances, the NHL will finish out the remainder of the season even if it means playing games over the summer.
