HPD: Man threatened victim with knife, damaged property

A Hopkinsville man is facing numerous charges after he allegedly entered a residence without permission and brandished a knife at a neighbor.

That’s according to the Hopkinsville Police Department, which reports that 49-year old Ricky Bradshaw of Hopkinsville unlawfully entered the victim’s residence while manifestly under the influence of alcohol.  While inside he allegedly broke the victim’s television and threatened a neighbor with a knife by walking toward the neighbor while swinging a knife in the air.

Bradshaw also reportedly damaged some property of the neighbor, causing approximately $1,000 in damages.  He allegedly attempted to hide evidence before officers arrived.

Bradshaw was arrested and charged with first-degree burglary, first-degree wanton endangerment, tampering with physical evidence, first-degree criminal mischief and public intoxication.
