The number of people recovered from COVID-19 continues to grow in Christian County, which saw no news cases of the virus from Tuesday to Wednesday.
That’s according to the Christian County Health Department, which puts the total number of confirmed cases at 97, unchanged from the day before. Of those cases, 14 are ‘active’ and 80 people have recovered from the illness. Breaking those active cases down into age categories, there is one in the pediatric age group, six in the young adult to middle aged adult group, seven in the older adult category and none in the elderly age group.
The health department urges people to keep up good hygiene practices—including frequently washing your hands—and maintain social distancing guidelines.
