NBA commissioner Adam Silver reportedly has a timetable for making a decision over whether or not to resume the NBA season. Reports state Silver is expected to make a decision in the next two to four weeks. There is reported optimism that the league could be leaning toward resuming its current season amid the ongoing coronavirus outbreak.
Meanwhile, some of the NBA’s biggest stars are in favor of resuming the season after a private conference call. Yahoo! Sports reports the call, led by Players Association president Chris Paul, included LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Kevin Durant, Steph Curry, and others. The players came to a collective agreement to take the court with proper safety measures. Their decision reportedly will hold significant weight for other players.
