Atmos Energy provides meals to first responders, healthcare workers

Atmos Energy, in an effort to support the state’s first responders and medical professionals during the pandemic, has provided breakfasts to over 1,000 individuals.

According to a news release, Atmos Energy fed those on the frontlines at multiple locations through their eight-state service area, including Baptist Health facilities in Madisonville, Hopkinsville, Dawson Springs and Powderly, serving over 400 professionals.  Also served were close to 100 staff at Princeton Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility.

Also receiving breakfasts were facilities in Danville, Bowling Green and Paducah.  President Kevin Dobbs says, “At some point the pandemic will end and we will go back to our normal lives. But our heroes will continue to take care of us, running toward the emergency and helping us keep well.”
