NBA commissioner Adam Silver believes returning from the coronavirus could be their greatest challenge ever. In a call with the players association, ESPN reports he talked about lost revenue and how it might affect future seasons. Silver also noted the labor agreement was not built for a pandemic.
Meanwhile, a former NBA superstar feels the league should just call it a day and wait until next season to return. Shaquille O’Neal tells USA Today that the league should just scrap the season and come back next year. He said a team that won after a rushed return and altered playoff format wouldn’t be legit.
