You’ll want to take preventative measures to protect your plants before going to bed tonight if you have a garden as there is a Freeze Warning in effect for much of western Kentucky and middle Tennessee.
The warning includes Christian, Todd, Montgomery, Muhlenberg, Hopkins and counties to the north and it goes from 11 p.m. to 8 a.m. Saturday. Temperatures will dip into the lower 30’s overnight and could kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.
A Frost Advisory is in effect for Trigg County and areas to the west overnight.
There’s also a Lake Wind Advisory today from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m., with the National Weather Service saying northwest winds gusting up to 30 mph will create hazardous conditions for small craft on area waterways.
