Hopkinsville police made an arrest following a burglary Wednesday night at Amanda’s Cupcakes on South Main Street.
The owner of the business was sitting at a table inside the business a few minutes before 10 p.m. when 24-year old Giovanni Haskins of Hopkinsville allegedly made his way into the locked front door without permission. The victim was also able to provide surveillance footage showing Haskins entering the store early Wednesday morning without permission.
There was also reportedly video showing him trying to enter a rear door last month.
Haskins initially denied going inside, but later said he just wanted to rest his feet, according to the report.
Haskins is charged with second-degree burglary.
