Living Hope Baptist Church is hosting a food distribution event on Saturday and everyone who is need of some help is invited to take part.
Sloan Cansler with Living Hope says the distribution will take place at the church’s location on Eagle Way Bypass on Saturday from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. and volunteers will place the food directly into participants’ vehicles.
She says people will get a variety of different food items, all non-perishable.
Anyone living in Christian County in eligible to participate. Sloan says the event is all about helping those in the community who might just need a little help during the current circumstances with COVID-19 and many who may have lost their jobs due to that.
