The Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library will begin its curbside pickup service on Monday.
Executive Director DeeAnna Sova appeared on WHOP Thursday morning to describe the program, saying the easiest way for patrons to reserve their books is to log on the library website with their card and pin numbers.
Patrons can also call the library between 8 a.m. and noon at 270-887-4262 and reserve a book or ask a library staff member to pick out something for them in a particular genre.
Sova says then go to the library between noon and 4 p.m., call the phone number and then stay in your car while someone brings you your materials.
Items not picked up after two days will be removed from hold and placed back on the shelf.
