The Pennyrile Parkway northbound on and off ramps at KY 800 will be closed for approximately 10 days, beginning Monday, as a contractor performs rehab work.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says motorists traveling on the Pennyrile Parkway can anticipate the closure of the northbound off-ramp and the northbound on-ramp at Exit 23 in Crofton. The southbound on-ramp and the southbound off-ramp will be open to traffic.
The closure is necessary for the contractor to rehab both northbound ramps and is scheduled for 10 days, weather permitting. The job both ramps entails breaking up the existing concrete and applying an overlay of asphalt. Concrete will be used for the mainline.
In preparation for this work, the contractor will be moving equipment into place on Thursday, from 9 a.m. until about 4 p.m. Motorists will need to use extra caution in that area.
