Trace Industries stays connected to clients despite closures

Many businesses and agencies have had to learn to operate different during the COVID-19 pandemic, and Trace Industries is one of them.

Trace Industries is a day training center for individuals with developmental disabilities. In March, the Governor issued an executive order that closed all adult day care facilities and since then, Trace Industries has adapted to continue staying in touch with clients.  That includes doing Facebook live, YouTube videos, and Facetime to hold life and social skill classes such as exercise, meditation, healthy eating, and virtual cooking classes to help with the disruption of their clients’ routine.

Officials have held drive-by parades to clients’ homes to visit while staying socially distant. Although Trace Industries is closed to their clients, all employees are still working daily at each of the facilities which include Madisonville, Princeton, and Hopkinsville.
