The Tennessee Titans have agreed to terms with veteran running back Seniorse Perry. Perry spent the 2019 season with the Buffalo Bills, where he played in 11 games. Perry had just three carries for three yards. He entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent of the Chicago Bears in 2014 and also played for the Miami Dolphins.
ESPN reports the Tennessee Titans and Seattle Seahawks have both made multiple offers to pass rusher Jadaveon Clowney. Apparently no offer has struck the fancy of the free agent pass rusher and it’s believed he is in no hurry to sign nor lower his price tag.
Meanwhile, an NFL Network source says the Tennessee Titans are declining the fifth year option on wide receiver Corey Davis. The number five overall pick in 2017 will now be eligible for free agency following the 2020 season. Davis was surpassed by rookie A.J. Brown as a leading target last season in the Titans receiving corps. He had just 43 receptions for 601 yards in 2019.
The Titans also announced today they are picking up the fifth year option for cornerback Adoree’ Jackson. Jackson is entering his fourth season and had 45 tackles in 11 games last season.
