KHSAA extends “dead period”

The dead period for high school sports was extended through May 31 on Thursday as announced by the KHSAA. This means all school-owned property will remain closed for sports-related use for at least another month. It’s hopeful that fall sports can begin their practices on time. Football is to begin workouts July 10th, with golf, cross country, volleyball and soccer slated to start practices July 15th.
