HCC celebrating Kudos Awards winners

Hopkinsville Community College is celebrating the recipients of the Kudos Awards, which recognize students, organizations, faculty and staff members that promote the overall mission of the college.

According to a news release, Outstanding Student Organization of the Year goes to Phi Theta Kappa and Outstanding Program of the Year goes to the HCC Nursing program. Holly Dossett of Cadiz was named Exemplary Faculty Member and Lillian Hawkins-Grimes of Hopkinsville took the Exemplary Staff Member award.

In the student categories, Recognition of SGA President went to Daniel Fowler of Hopkinsville, Silent Inspiration goes to Sara Turner of Stinnett, Outstanding Student Organization Member of the Year went to Mollie Grace Whitaker of Hopkinsville, Outstanding Student Employee goes to Shaquel Moore of Hopkinsville and Distinguished Student Leader went to Sara Turner.

HCC Coordinator of Student Activities and Retention Elana Stubbs says, “I am so proud to work along side each one of these amazing leaders, and excited to be able to present these awards. Student organizations would not be possible without the hard work of college advisors and the dedication of the students who make up these organizations.”
