Christian County athletics director Steve Lovelace tells WHOP Sports long time wrestling coach Robert Burnham has announced his resignation. Lovelace said Burnham wanted to do it at the team’s banquet, but because of COVID-19 he is making the announcement. Burnham spent 16 years in the Christian County program and guided the Colonels to a state runner up finish in the 2020 season. He was also named the Kentucky Wrestling Coaches Association Coach of the Year.
