Jennie Stuart Health will begin the process of reopening services that had been shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic starting on May 4.
According to a news release, the first phase will include resuming operations of outpatient services at the Medical Imaging Center and Express Lab on Eagle Way. Outpatient imaging services and scheduling of outpatient procedures resumed earlier in the week. Physical and Occupational Therapy services are also reopening and therapy appointments will be phased in over the next two to three weeks.
Plans to open other services including the Ambulatory Surgery Center and main campus elective surgeries are also in the works. Officials with Jennie Stuart Health say they will maintain strict protective restrictions with staff and patients being required to wear masks and participate in temperature checks prior to entering health care facilities.
