North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper has given NASCAR the green light to run the Coca-Cola 600 on Memorial Day weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Cooper said yesterday that the race was on as long as health conditions in the state didn’t worsen. The revised NASCAR schedule will resume May 17th at Darlington Raceway in South Carolina with the 600 May 24th in Charlotte.
