Hopkins County gained 20 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases from Monday to Tuesday.
Public Health Director Denise Beach says 14 of the 20 new cases were tested at the Kroger partnership site at Madisonville-North Hopkins High School last week and several of those individuals are asymptomatic.
Beach notes there are three long-term facilities with COVID-19 cases and 14 of their 21 deaths have come from those homes.
Seventy-four of Hopkins County’s 195 confirmed cases have recovered.
