Christian County now sits at 88 total cases of COVID-19, according to the Christian County Health Department.
There are now 88 total cases, up two from the 86 cases reported Saturday. Thirty of those cases are active and 55 patients have recovered, according to the health department. Christian County has had three coronavirus fatalities. Amanda Sweeney with the health department says they have tested 320 at the site at Tie Breaker Park, and it is now open for anyone who wants to be tested.
Beth McCraw with Jennie Stuart Health says they currently have three patients who have tested positive for COVID-19 and there are six admitted patients with tests pending. Seven patients have been treated for the virus and successfully discharged. Jennie Stuart has tested 1,099 people at all of its locations and McCraw says they will close their Express Lab site on Friday.
She further elaborated on how things will look different for a while at the hospital as different areas of the healthcare sector reopen, including differences in scheduling appointments.
The CCHD testing site is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. and will now have extended hours on Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. until 11 a.m.
