ESPN reports the NBA will allow reopening of team practice facilities beginning Friday. It will be in compliance with states and cities guidelines as stay-at-restrictions are beginning to be relaxed amid the coronavirus pandemic. Teams would be prohibited from holding group workouts, but it would allow NBA organizations to begin permitting players to return to training in a professional, safe environment.

The Chicago Bulls are making history by hiring Marc Eversley as their new general manager. ESPN reports Chicago has agreed to a deal with the Philadelphia 76ers assistant GM. Eversley becomes the first African-American GM in Bulls history following his stints with Philadelphia, the Washington Wizards, Toronto Raptors & Nike.

Video footage of Kobe Bryant’s final season with the Lakers may one day be made into a documentary. ESPN reports that Bryant had a camera crew follow him for his entire final season in 2015-16. Former Laker Larry Nance Junior and former team trainer Gary Vitti were among those to comment on the footage to ESPN. Bryant hired his own crew and they followed him to every game, practice, shoot around and even his home. Bryant and his daughter died in a helicopter crash earlier this year.
