Hopkinsville Mayor Wendell Lynch will give his budget address virtually on Friday morning.
According to a news release, the 2020-2021 budget presentation will take place at 9 a.m. via broadcast from the Hopkinsville Municipal Building. Due to social distancing restrictions related to the COVID-19 state of emergency, there will be no general in-person viewing. Instead, the public is encouraged to watch the budget address press conference and later Committee of the Whole meetings live by online streaming or on television. Cable customers can watch the City TV broadcasts on Spectrum Cable Channel 376 or on AT&T U-Verse Channel 99. Following the press conference, the budget will be taken up for consideration by Hopkinsville City Council at a series of Committee of the Whole meetings.
