Two more people have died from COVID-19 in Hopkins County.
That brings the total since the pandemic began to 21, according to Hopkins County Public Health Director Denise Beach, who says there have been six new confirmed cases since Friday.
There are now 175 total cases in Hopkins County and 74 of those patients have recovered.
There were three days of testing last week in a partnership between the state and Kroger at Madisonville North Hopkins High School and the health department hasn’t gotten most of those results back from the state yet.
Beach says call 1-877-852-2677 or go online to thelittleclinic.com to get your results if you were tested in Madisonville last week and then begin self-isolating immediately if the test is positive.
Beach says the test results are being submitted to the state first, so it’s possible the patient will receive their results before the Hopkins County Health Department.
